TECHNICAL INFORMATION - CANVAS PRINTS

PRINT QUALITY
We use the latest technology high resolution solvent ink printers giving vibrant crisp full colour reproductions. Solvent inks are a UV resistant, waterproof colour system that is far superior to its competitors in durability and longevity. The canvas is a fine 340gsm polyblend fabric design to suit the solvent based inks and reproduces perfectly to the smallest detail.

SIZES AVAILABLE
They are divided into 2 types - Limited Edition and Decor style prints. The Limited edition are reproductions done from original reproductions of Peter Jantke and guest artists works. They come in 3 base sizes and are all limited to a reproduction run of 2000 copies (all sizes included). They are personally signed and numbered at the rear of the print. The decor prints are a homewares product made from the studio's copyright owned images. They come in many different sizes including diptych's (2 in a pair), rectangular and square configurations.

The standard sizes cater to most of the prints in the range and although some images may differ in height and length, they will be the same square centimeter measurement as the standard prints and the same price. Customised sizes can be made on request

BORDERS

The inclusion of borders surrounding the artwork of the prints are for the depth (sides) when mounting onto a stretchers. The border size depends of the size of the print and caters to the depth of most stretcher frames. It allows enough overlap for easy stapling at the rear. The border is either a continuation of the print image or blacked out to finish.

FREIGHT & PURCHASING

All of the prints come unstretched and rolled up into a postal tube for protection. We can supply the stretched or even a fully framed version if required but this attracts a lot higher cost and freight charge. Bulk order and online purchasing discounts apply to this product.
